Dr. Raines is a conflict management specialist. She offers Conflict Management training and intervention services to clients worldwide in cases ranging from court matters to the resolution of disputes within organizational teams. She specializes in complex, multi-party disputes as well as in the prevention of conflict through organizational culture change initiatives and proactive interventions.

Dr. Raines specializes in multi-party, complex dispute resolution and prevention. She has offered mediation, training, and organizational intervention services throughout the US and worldwide. She works with multi-national and international organizations to train leaders and managers to reduce conflict, lead teams effectively, and to improve mission achievement. She has mediated more than 17,000 cases, trained managers in intercultural conflict resolution and management, mediated commercial cases in the European Union, designed and evaluated dispute resolution systems for multinational and national organizations, and trained physicians and healthcare professionals to prevent conflict while improving patient care. She facilitates dialogues around contentious issues and leads organizational culture change efforts. Employers and clients include The Volkswagen North America (VW), Comcast, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Medical Associations and many more. She is a Professor and Director of the Master's Program in Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University (2001-2023), was the Editor-in-Chief for Conflict Resolution Quarterly (2008-2020) and has authored 3 books and more than 60 peer reviewed journal articles.
